The Mental Health Hackathon is a unique program designed to empower students to take action and find innovative solutions to improve mental health within their communities. The program brings together students from various backgrounds and disciplines to collaborate, brainstorm and create solutions that address the mental health challenges faced by young people.
The Mental Health Hackathon sees participants hearing from experts in the field of mental health, and learn about the current state of mental health in the community. Students work in teams to develop youth-led solutions that could be integrated into their school, community or digital world. The solutions can range from technology-based apps to community-based projects, or a school based program.
Throughout the hackathon, students will have access to mentorship, resources and support from experts in mental health, technology, and entrepreneurship. This program aims to empower students to take an active role in addressing mental health issues and create a positive impact in their communities.
