The Power Of Young Professionals 

With over half the population under the age of 30, companies big and small are looking at how they can attract, retain, and develop top young talent in their teams. In this presentation, we will unpack the key workforce trends we're noticing for Generation Z and Generation Alpha before then looking at some tangible ways young people in school today can get a headstart on their chosen pathway at a young age. ​

Entrepreneurial Pathways - Scott's Story 

As a Grade 9 student, Scott never thought that a high school business project might one day turn into a leading Australian education company. In this presentation, Scott will share his story from selling keyrings at local markets to travelling around the world working with CEOs and politicians. Scott will be sharing his experience taking an alternative career pathway and sharing some of his top tips for stepping outside of your comfort zones and making the most of our ever-changing future of work.

Finding Your Purpose - Maddie's Story 

When all you’re being asked from the age of 15 is, “What do you want to do after school?”, it can be challenging to figure out what you're actually passionate about, versus what others want you to pursue. In this keynote, Maddie will provide students with not just the tools and tips for choosing a career, but also an understanding of what it means to live a life that is meaningful and impactful as we explore what it means to discover your passion and purpose as a young adult, as well as how to chase your dreams in an ever-changing world.

Technology has transformed the way we live, work, learn and connect over the past 100 years, and there is no doubt that it will continue to play a major role in our schools, workplaces and communities over the next 100 years. In this presentation, the BOP team will explore some of the emerging technology trends we need to consider as we plan for the future, as well as some of the ways we can all stay safe and stay smart while connecting online.

Scott Millar

The tech-head prodigy behind BOP Industries, Scott Millar is a young entrepreneur taking the world by storm. Compared to a young Steve Jobs after turning a year nine business project into a thriving business, Scott has taken an alternative career pathway, turning down scholarship offers after finishing high school to run his company full time, now with a growing presence around the world. As Queensland’s Young Small Business Leader and one of Australia’s top 30 CEO’s under 30 years of age Scott is on a mission to inspire the next generation, showing them the exciting things they can do regardless of their age, postcode or skillset.

Maddie Panther

Maddie Panther is a dynamic young professional and the Head of Programs at BOP Industries, where she leads the design and delivery of innovative learning experiences for over 20,000 students each year. Working with leading organisations and educators across Australia, Maddie creates engaging, industry aligned programs that help young people explore future careers and develop the skills needed to thrive in the workforce of tomorrow. As a next generation leader herself, Maddie shares practical insights on confidence, mindset and opportunity, inspiring students to think big, back themselves and take action toward their future.

Coby Lee

Coby Lee is a passionate young educator, entrepreneur and facilitator at BOP Industries who works with schools and communities across Australia to inspire the next generation of innovators. With a background in business, management and psychology and international study experiences in the United States and Italy, Coby brings a vibrant global perspective to the workshops and keynotes she delivers. Drawing on her own experiences launching ventures, leading community initiatives and working with young entrepreneurs, Coby loves to share the lessons she has learnt since leaving school and offers practical insights into resilience, initiative and what it means to grow as a 21st century leader.
