Pitching Challenges To Young People Across Your Community

Schools today are always on the lookout for impactful learning opportunities that can get their students out of the classroom and into the real world.

A great way to connect with young people in your local community would be to host an interschool competiton. These programs would see 5-10 students from a selection of schools across your local community coming together to develop their skills, understanding and ideas related to your industry and organisation.

Run over the course of the term, this competition would see schools from across the local community able to enter 1-2 teams of students to develop an innovative solution to a challenge pitched by your organisation.

The competition would commence with a full-day in-person hackathon and would be followed by weekly virtual masterclasses that would run throughout the term. At the end of the term, each team would submit a 3-5 minute video pitch for judging ahead of an awards ceremony. This competition could change in theme annually with the theme set by your organisation.
