About The Program

Program Brief

The Business Builders Program is a hands-on entrepreneurship experience that introduces students to the world of business, innovation and creative problem-solving. Through fast-paced hands-on workshops and challenges, students will explore how to turn their ideas, passions and interests into a real business plan that they could launch for under $100 within the school term or holidays.

Designed to build confidence in solution development, leadership and entrepreneurial thinking, the program helps students turn any idea into a viable business idea. Along the way, students will create brand concepts, pitch ideas and discover exciting future pathways in business, marketing, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Workshop Themes Include:

Business Ideation & Startup Designing
Students explore entrepreneurial thinking through brainstorming activities and rapid ideation challenges as they develop an original business concept.
Branding & Product Design
Students create their own business identity by developing a brand name, logo, promotional materials and product or service concept designed for a real audience.
Customer Persona & Marketing
Students learn how businesses understand their customers through persona development, audience exploration and marketing activities.
Pitching & Communication
Students strengthen their confidence in public speaking and persuasive communication as they learn how to pitch their business idea in an engaging and professional way.

Program Outcomes:

By the end of the program, students will:

Develop confidence in creativity, leadership and communication
Strengthen entrepreneurial thinking and problem-solving skills
Explore real-world business and startup processes
Build skills in branding, marketing and customer discovery
Create and pitch an original business concept for a real audience

Every program can be tailored to suit the specific goals and expected outcomes of your classroom. Whether you are preparing students for assessment tasks, competitions, project-based learning, showcases or curriculum outcomes, our team can adapt the experience to align with your students, learning objectives and school priorities.

Age Group

This program can be adapted for both Primary and High School Audiences. It is designed for delivery for Grade 3-10 students.

Program Length

This program can be adapted in length to run for a full day, or two days in length.

Longer programs allow students to further develop their skills and dive deeper as they bring their ideas to life. Shorter programs are great as a taster experience for students touching lightly on the key topics.
