With curriculum time getting busier and busier, a great way to inspire and empower students is before and after school with extracurricular programs for students. Our after school programs are fantastic at doing this and allow us to get students thinking big and focussing on cross-curricular, project-based learning as they tackle challenges, build skills and work on projects that get them thinking about the world around them and the exciting opportunities open to their generation.
With everything from designing future cities to launching influencer brands, building businesses, working with technology and more, we have a range of standard programs to choose from, or we're able to customise a program to your school community. Our after school programs typically run for 6-8 weeks and cost $30 per student per week.

About The Program
The Freelancer’s Studio is a hands-on workshop designed to help students build their personal brand and explore how they can turn their skills and passions into freelance opportunities. Whether it’s photography, tutoring, graphic design, coding, writing, or another creative pursuit, this workshop encourages students to recognise the value of what they already enjoy doing and explore how they can get paid for it. Through practical activities, they’ll learn how to position themselves as young professionals, identify their ideal clients or audience, and begin shaping a freelance offering that feels both exciting and achievable.
Throughout the program, students will explore key elements of freelancing and creative business-building. They’ll dive into personal branding, explore different business models, and learn how to promote their services through channels like email marketing, social media, and basic sales funnels. As part of the experience, students will map out their service offering, build a brand identity, and begin designing a basic website or online portfolio to showcase their work. The workshop is packed with real-world examples, creative challenges, and engaging discussions designed to help students bring their ideas to life in a practical and inspiring way.

This program can be adapted in length to run for half a day, a full day, or two days in length.
Longer programs allow students to further develop their skills and dive deeper as they bring their ideas to life. Shorter programs are great as a taster experience for students touching lightly on the key topics.
