With curriculum time getting busier and busier, a great way to inspire and empower students is before and after school with extracurricular programs for students. Our after school programs are fantastic at doing this and allow us to get students thinking big and focussing on cross-curricular, project-based learning as they tackle challenges, build skills and work on projects that get them thinking about the world around them and the exciting opportunities open to their generation.
With everything from designing future cities to launching influencer brands, building businesses, working with technology and more, we have a range of standard programs to choose from, or we're able to customise a program to your school community. Our after school programs typically run for 6-8 weeks and cost $30 per student per week.

About The Program
The Industry Innovators program has been designed to help students develop their 21st-century skills as they explore the diverse range of career pathways available to them in industries across the country.
In this program, students will be embarking on an industry-aligned design sprint as they develop solutions for challenges facing industry leaders today. Participants will be working in teams of four as they adopt the personas of Hipsters, Hackers, Hustlers, and Humanists in order to develop an innovative yet feasible solution to one of four challenges presented to them by a diverse range of industry partners.
The program has been designed to mirror the industry with students provided with a client brief, encouraged to participate in regular check-ins with their team, and provided with the opportunity to attend optional masterclasses to help further develop their skills.
The program will then culminate in a pitch showcase where students will be presenting their final ideas in a series of heats in order to determine the best ideas generated by the cohort for review from the industry partners.
We would recommend offering 2-4 challenges for students to select from. Current challenges on offer include:
The Future Of Retail: Students will be exploring the innovations happening in the retail industry, as brands work to develop seamless online experiences, rethink their physical stores, and work to appeal to their customer's changing purchasing habits.
Mental Health Hackathon: Students will be looking at how they can create a digital solution, a physical space, and a school-based program to help young people in their time of need, and to help them form healthy habits.
The Future Of Sport: Students will be looking at redesigning a stadium of the future with a focus on technology, sustainability, and spectator experience.
The Future Of Transport: Students will be exploring innovative transportation solutions being led across the country as they work to create a plan for autonomous vehicles in their community, mass transit alternatives to ease congestion, and accessible sustainable transportation options to get people moving away from fossil fuels.
Ethical Innovations: Students will be focusing on what the future of social media might look like as they work to design an ethical social media platform of the future.
Long Haul Flying: Students will be creating a plan for new ultra-long-haul flights (+20hrs non stop) as they select the aircraft, set ticket prices, design the cabin, manage the inflight entertainment, and plan a route launch event.
