About The Program

As global populations grow and technologies evolve, the way we produce, prepare, and consume food is undergoing a dramatic transformation. The Future of Food workshop invites students to explore the big questions and bold innovations shaping the future of our meals. From 3D-printed snacks and superfoods to vertical farming, global food security, and sustainable agriculture, this program encourages young people to think creatively about what food could look like in the year 2050 and beyond.

Throughout the program, students will investigate global challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity, and food miles, while learning about cutting-edge food technologies and innovative solutions from around the world. They’ll explore how food connects to culture, health, and the environment as they work in teams to develop a future-focused menu, conceptualise a restaurant of the future, and design a dining experience that reflects sustainability, technology, and global fusion. Along the way, students will take part in interactive masterclasses covering alternative protein sources, circular agriculture, food packaging innovation, and future food trends.

The Future of Food workshop is perfect for schools looking to spark curiosity around sustainability, science, innovation, and global citizenship. By blending creativity with critical thinking, the program helps students understand the real-world systems that shape our food and empowers them to reimagine how we can feed our world in smarter, more sustainable ways. Whether they’re aspiring chefs, scientists, entrepreneurs, or designers, this workshop offers a deliciously engaging opportunity to shape the future of food.
