With curriculum time getting busier and busier, a great way to inspire and empower students is before and after school with extracurricular programs for students. Our after school programs are fantastic at doing this and allow us to get students thinking big and focussing on cross-curricular, project-based learning as they tackle challenges, build skills and work on projects that get them thinking about the world around them and the exciting opportunities open to their generation.
With everything from designing future cities to launching influencer brands, building businesses, working with technology and more, we have a range of standard programs to choose from, or we're able to customise a program to your school community. Our after school programs typically run for 6-8 weeks and cost $30 per student per week.

About The Program
Around the world, young people are stepping up as changemakers, using their voice and their skills to drive meaningful impact. The Social Enterprise Hackathon empowers students to do just that by showing them how they can use business as a force for good. In this hands-on workshop, students will explore the world of social enterprise and work in teams to design a business that addresses a real issue in their local community while remaining financially sustainable.
Throughout the program, students will explore the foundations of social entrepreneurship as they investigate community needs, generate creative business ideas, and develop plans for ventures that balance purpose and profit. They'll explore different revenue models, develop a brand identity, and craft their pitch as they bring their social enterprise to life. Along the way, they’ll look at inspiring case studies from around the world and apply practical design thinking tools to help turn their ideas into action.
The Social Enterprise Hackathon is ideal for schools looking to help students develop their enterprise skills while making a positive impact. It’s a powerful introduction to purpose-driven business, and a great way for young people to build teamwork, creativity, and communication skills as they reimagine what business can be. Longer programs allow students to further develop their skills and dive deeper as they bring their ideas to life. Shorter programs are great as a taster experience for students touching lightly on the key topics.
