With curriculum time getting busier and busier, a great way to inspire and empower students is before and after school with extracurricular programs for students. Our after school programs are fantastic at doing this and allow us to get students thinking big and focussing on cross-curricular, project-based learning as they tackle challenges, build skills and work on projects that get them thinking about the world around them and the exciting opportunities open to their generation.
With everything from designing future cities to launching influencer brands, building businesses, working with technology and more, we have a range of standard programs to choose from, or we're able to customise a program to your school community. Our after school programs typically run for 6-8 weeks and cost $30 per student per week.

About The Program
The Global Leaders program is a future-focused learning experience designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge and mindset needed to thrive as active global citizens. Students step into the shoes of changemakers, tackling real-world challenges linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Through the lens of community leadership, they explore how diverse individuals and organisations work together to drive positive change in communities across the globe.
Using the principles of design thinking, students collaborate in teams to research global issues, build empathy through user personas, and create innovative, user-centred solutions for fictional communities facing complex sustainability challenges. In Metropolia, students explore urban issues such as housing shortages, pollution and a lack of green space in a rapidly growing city. In Equalityville, they address social challenges including limited access to education, healthcare inequalities and gender inequity. In Aquatopia, students work to protect marine ecosystems, restore land habitats and respond to the impacts of climate change in a vulnerable coastal region.
Throughout the program, students move through a process of research, ideation, prototyping and pitching, developing key skills in communication, teamwork and innovation. They engage in two major experiences that bring their learning to life. In the Global Challenge Debate, students pitch their early ideas to a panel and receive feedback to refine their solutions. In the SDGs Challenge Simulation, they respond to real-time global events, adapt their solutions on the spot, and demonstrate leadership in action. By the end of the program, students have developed a practical understanding of sustainable development and community leadership, along with the confidence and capability to lead change in their communities and beyond.
