The Solving The Problem: Youth Vaping Unit will see students work collaboratively and use design thinking to find innovative solutions to the youth vaping problem.
Over the course of the unit, students work in teams, focusing their efforts on eliminating adolescent vaping in school communities. They will closely examine the issues surrounding this topic and devise strategies to educate their peers on the dangers. At the end of the unit, students will prepare a pitch presentation and share how their ideas will help solve the youth vaping problem.
This unit provides an opportunity for students to apply their creative and critical thinking skills. Their ideas have the potential to contribute to advancements in stopping young people from vaping and minimising their exposure to various health problems.
