With curriculum time getting busier and busier, a great way to inspire and empower students is before and after school with extracurricular programs for students. Our after school programs are fantastic at doing this and allow us to get students thinking big and focussing on cross-curricular, project-based learning as they tackle challenges, build skills and work on projects that get them thinking about the world around them and the exciting opportunities open to their generation.
With everything from designing future cities to launching influencer brands, building businesses, working with technology and more, we have a range of standard programs to choose from, or we're able to customise a program to your school community. Our after school programs typically run for 6-8 weeks and cost $30 per student per week.

Get ready to step into the future with The Something School 2025, one of our leading youth activation delivered in partnership with Something Digital and running as part of Something Fest, Queensland’s largest digital innovation festival.
Running from 26–28 August in Brisbane, this program gives high school students aged 15–18 the opportunity to connect with world-class innovators, explore emerging technologies, and discover how digital skills are shaping the future of work, creativity, and community impact.
Across the week, students can get involved in two exciting ways:
💡 Youth Delegate Program (26 or 27 August): Students will spend a full day at Something Digital at The Tivoli, attending inspiring keynotes, hands-on masterclasses, and industry networking sessions. Whether they attend with a teacher or on their own, students will be supported by the BOP Industries team throughout the day.
🍩 Something School Breakfast (28 August): Hosted at The Precinct in Fortitude Valley, this early morning event includes a light breakfast, networking opportunities, and a high-energy Power Hour featuring a global keynote, industry panel, and audience Q&A.
Best of all, it’s completely free to attend, with limited spots available for both events.
Whether students are curious about careers in tech, passionate about innovation, or simply looking for inspiration beyond the classroom, The Something School is an unforgettable experience designed to open doors and spark big ideas.
