Young Business Leaders Program
Do you have a business or business idea that you're looking to take to the next level? We've got the perfect opportunity for you! Beenleigh Yatala Chamber of Commerce have partnered with BOP Industries' Young Entrepreneurs Hub to give year 7-12 students in the region the opportunity to take part in a term-long program to build and grow their business ideas.
Through a series of workshops and events, students will go from start to sell, building their businesses from the ground up with the help of expert facilitators, local mentors, and special guests.
The program kicks off with the Business Leaders Start-Up Day on the 31st March 2021 and we'd love to see you there.

Still Have Questions? We Have Answers!
Who is the program for?
The program is free to enter for all year 7-12 students at member school of the Beenleigh Yatala Junior Chamber. We don't ask that students have any prior experience, we just ask that they are interested and willing to learn.
Do students need to atend every session?
We understand that students have increasingly busy schedules as they move through high school. Because of this, they do not need to attend every session throughout the term and we can catch them up on what they missed for one or two sessions. We do ask though that they try to attend as many sessions as they can.
Why should students participate?
This program has been designed to engage a diverse range of students, and we always say that you don't need to be the next Bill Gates to participate. This is a great program for students to develop their entrepreneurial skills whilst also learning how to start their own small business. It's very hands-on and will see students focusing on business ideas they are passionate about.
When and where does the program run?
Is there a cost to participants?
No, the program is fully sponsored by the Beenleigh Yatala Chamber of Commerce
