About The Program
The Young Entrepreneurs Hub is a youth accelerator program designed to support high school students as they build, launch and grow their own businesses while still in school. Hosted within a real-world co-working and industry environment in Brisbane City, the program provides students with the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and immerse themselves in the entrepreneurial ecosystem alongside mentors, business leaders and like-minded young people. Facilitated by the BOP Industries team, the program empowers students to transform ideas into real ventures through hands-on workshops, mentoring and practical business experiences.
Throughout the program, students participate in workshops focused on key areas of entrepreneurship including branding, customer research, product development, marketing, sales and business management. Students are encouraged to think creatively, solve problems and take action as they work through the process of developing their own products, services and business concepts. By engaging within an industry space, students gain valuable insight into professional workplaces while building confidence, independence and real-world skills.
The Young Entrepreneurs Hub also provides opportunities for students to connect directly with industry mentors, attend networking events, showcase their businesses at markets and participate in end-of-year pitch events. Through these experiences, students build meaningful connections, receive feedback from professionals and gain exposure to the realities of running a business in today’s rapidly changing world of work.
By blending entrepreneurial learning with real-world industry engagement, the Young Entrepreneurs Hub creates an inspiring environment where students can develop future-focused skills, explore their passions and take meaningful steps toward launching their own ventures. The program not only supports the next generation of entrepreneurs, but also equips young people with creativity, resilience and leadership skills that will benefit them across any future pathway.
The Young Entrepreneurs Hub can be delivered in a range of flexible formats to suit different school and community needs, including as a 1–2 day immersive excursion experience, a semester-long program delivered across 6 days, or a year-long accelerator experience delivered across 12 days.
