Have you ever imagined what it would be like to launch your own airline and see your aircraft taking to the skies?
In this activity pack, students are invited to step into the role of an aviation entrepreneur as they design and develop the world’s next leading airline. From choosing the perfect name and brand identity to planning aircraft interiors, routes and passenger experiences, this resource encourages young aviators to think creatively about how airlines operate and what makes them stand out in a competitive industry.
Throughout the activity pack, students will explore the many elements that go into building a successful airline. They will analyse existing airlines to understand what works well, identify opportunities to do things differently and develop their own unique concept for a regional, domestic, or international carrier. Along the way, students will think about their passengers, design engaging travel experiences and make strategic decisions about aircraft, destinations and services that will shape their airline’s identity.
Designed as a self guided learning experience, this activity pack allows students to work independently as they bring their ideas to life. The structured challenges guide students step by step through the process of designing their airline while still giving them plenty of freedom to be imaginative, experiment with new ideas and develop creative solutions. It is perfect for young aviation enthusiasts, curious problem solvers and students interested in exploring careers in aviation, travel and entrepreneurship.

Student Output
Students design their own airline concept, bringing together elements such as their brand identity, passenger experience, aircraft fleet, route network and cabin design into a completed airline concept.
