Tuesday the 28th of July was such a fabulous day at The Way Beyond Today Expo. Scott Millar, BOP Industries CEO, began the day with The Future of Work Keynote.

The Way Beyond Today Expo is held annually at Kelvin Grove State College for their Year 10 students. This year there were over 400 students in attendance. There were so many topics touched on in the panels with the message reiterated to the kids that it's not necessarily about your ATAR, it's about being a good human and enjoying the work you do. We hosted a Young Professionals Panel with Cam, Isaac, and Lily that saw us chatting about the first 10 years out of school and what it's like to be a young professional.
We also hosted an Entrepreneurial Pathways Panel with Sam, Max, Hanah and Tash that saw us chatting about the different entrepreneurial pathways available to students. Students also discovered their inner Hipster, Hacker, Hustler and Humanist and learnt about pitching 101 with some hands-on activities. We have been partners and co-conspirators in helping deliver the event and it saw the team working with the college to develop a series of resources in the lead up to the event. It was a pleasure of working with the college to design the format for the day, source speakers and then facilitate these discussions on the day.
