The Hackathon

Have you got a problem, challenge or opportunity that you want out of the box solutions to? Have you ever considered pitching it to young people? Generation Z, our digital natives, have grown up in a world unlike any generation that has come before. This generation don’t know life without touch screen devices, high speed internet, social media and the other opportunities that come with this technology. As part of that, Generation Z thinks in an entirely different way to any other generation. From the way they solve problems to the way they find information, they like to think big, think different and explore the unknown.

At BOP we love to work with these young people to develop out of the box solutions to some of the challenges facing out communities, organisations and the world; and for this we have developed ‘The Hackathon’. This half day or full day program will see students tackling a challenge relevant to them as they work through our frameworks and masterclasses to develop a solution ready to pitch at the end of the session.

This program is designed to show students from across curriculum areas the amazing things they can do regardless of their age, postcode or background in a fun and supportive environment.
