How can we make flying a more enjoyable experience for economy class passengers?
The majority of the advancements we’ve seen onboard aircrafts over the past 100 years have been reserved for the more exclusive business and first class cabins. Whilst airlines have been able to create some truly magical experiences for their business and first class guests, in reality these passengers make up less than 10% of those on the plane.
With flights becoming longer as airlines experiment with +20 hour ultra long-haul flights, airlines are now shifting their attention towards economy passengers to look at how they can enhance the inflight experience and make it more enjoyable for those in economy class over long periods of time.
In this program, students will be challenged to redesign the inflight experience for an ultra long haul flight from Singapore to New York City. Looking at all elements of airline management, students will be challenged to develop their project plan on exactly what these flights will look like.
