Operations Manager

We’re on the search for a friendly but focussed Operations Manager that is ready to oversee day to day operations at BOP as we deliver programs, tours and client work year round. This role would see you assisting all members of the team and ensuring all projects running on time and on budget, as well as making sure client expectations are being met or exceeded on a daily basis.

 

This role has the ability to be a full time, or four day per week role depending on the applicants needs.

About The Role 

As an Operations Manager, we’re looking for someone with great organisational skills as well as great people skills. This person will need to be able to be likeable and build quick connections when working with our clients and internal team. As well as this, they also need to be process driven with an eye for details, ensuring they, as well as the rest of the team are setting and sticking to timelines in order to produce high quality results for our clients. They need to have management skills as they coordinate between, and oversee other members of the team working on a number of projects at any one time. Key tasks for this role include: 

 

  • Overseeing day to day operations of the organisation

  • Coordinating with members of the team to ensure work has been assigned and is being completed on time and to a high standard

  • Liaising with clients to manage projects, deliverables and expectations

  • The rostering and planning of upcoming workshops and projects

  • Setting up systems and handling communications with parents for online programs

  • Basic tech support for online programs 

  • Management of information and materials in the office 

  • The purchasing, organisation and packing of materials for in classroom programs 

 

Whilst these will be your main responsibilities, you will also find yourself delivering workshops and working on client projects as needed.  Prior experience managing teams, projects or events is preferable, along with a passion for working with students. 

 

Success In The Role 

Success in this role will see you ensuring all day to day operations at BOP run smoothly. This would see you overseeing all projects with team members clear on the milestones, and clients pleased with the final product.

 

As part of this you will also be working with the team to plan and support our various programs throughout the term and over school holidays. You will develop relationships with our facilitators and team and handle communications between the office crew and the team to coordinate logistics. 

 

When programs are confirmed, you will be responsible for coordinating with the client, the team and any facilitators to ensure the program runs smoothly.

The Details

Time Commitment: 4-5 Days Per Week

Start Date: 16th November 2020 

Location: Queen Street Mall, Brisbane (We work in a very funky coworking space)

Salary: $52,000 - $65,000 annual salary with the ability to increase over the next 12 months based on performance and growth of the company.
